Harper/Pritchett

Clifford Harper - Illustration pour V.S. Pritchett, On the edge of the cliff, in The Camberwell Beauty and Other Stories
Via Peter Humphreys

"He gave a wicked laugh, she saw his yellow teeth, and he dived and was crawling and shouting in the water as he swam out farther, defying her, threshing the water, and then as she screamed at him, really frightened, he came crawling in like some ugly hairy sea animal..."
